Jawaharlal Nehru Ports NSIGT Terminal handled one medical grade oxygen-filled cryogenic container from the vessel MV Seaspan Lebu of MESAWA service last week, the total quantity being 19.32 mt, as part of continuing efforts to facilitate Covid-related relief.

Container No. TCUU2227308, which was loaded at Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates, was discharged at 1850 hours on May 21, 2021. The vessel operator was CMA CGM Agencies (India) Pvt. Ltd.

JNPT has handled a total 278.272 mt of medical grade liquid oxygen till date from the vessels MV GSF Giselle, MV Nagoya Tower, MV BSL Limassol and MV Seaspan Lebu, informed a release.

Mr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ports, Shipping & Waterways, tweeted that JN Port is working on mission mode to provide relief to Covid-19 patients, adding that clearance of such cargo has been accorded highest priority.
